Speaker Bios:
Simon Gervais, FSA, MAAA has over 10 years of experience supporting life and annuity insurers and reinsurers with modeling, assumptions, and methodology decisions supporting the calculation of principles-based statutory reserves (e.g., VM-20 and VM-22) and capital in the US. Simon is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and sits on the American Academy of Actuaries Life Practice Council and Annuity Reserve and Capital Subcommittee. He is a graduate of the University of Quebec in Montreal, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
